Unlike a fixed-length ramp, this ramp can extend to the needed length and slide back down for easier storage and transport. It is a helpful option for use in multiple locations, changing entry points, or situations where one consistent ramp length may not be enough.

Made from maintenance-free anodized aluminum, the ramp is strong without feeling bulky. It features an integrated non-skid surface, drainage holes, rounded folding handles, and protective end caps that help keep the ramp positioned during use. A simple locking mechanism keeps the ramp fixed at the selected length during use and helps prevent the sections from sliding apart during transport.

Choosing the right length
Choose the longest ramp your space can comfortably allow. A longer ramp creates a gentler slope, making the ramp easier to use and easier to navigate.

As a general guide, Stepless recommends a maximum gradient of 1:7 for a user-operated manual wheelchair, and 1:5 for a helper-assisted manual wheelchair or electric wheelchair.
